Tonelero is an traditional residential street of Copacabana. The building dates back to 1956 and the penthouse looks out onto the Pedra da Agulinha (Floresta da Chacrinha), a forest reserve that belongs to the Brazilian Military Police. This is good news by the way. The whole area is protected and no illegal construction is permitted.
The Penthouse
The penthouse is situated right above the apartment. It features an outstanding 20 square meter terrace facing lush, forested hillside where monkeys and birds frolic.
It has a 30m2 living room with a convertible double sofa, an office area with a desk, one double room, 2 bathrooms with showers. The terrace is partly sheltered with an awning, table and sofas; it's also equipped with an outdoors shower.
It's on the top floor of an 11 storey building, bright and quiet. Total area : 123m2. Ceiling fans, silent air conditioning, television, laundry room with washing machine, basin and hangers.
Only two blocks from the beach, subway, markets and cinemas are within walking distance.
